The Can-Am Outlander 800R EFI houses a 799cc liquid cooled, SOGC, eight-valve V-twin engine. The 09 model has an increase in power by nine percent over past models. The Outlander 800R EFI also has a new redesigned fascia, double A-arm front and TTI rear suspension systems, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with engine braking and Visco-Lok differential.

The Outlander 800R EFI also features an electronic anti-theft system (D.E.S.S.), 26-inch radial tires with painted steel wheels and Steel racks with 300-pound [136 kg] capacity.

Coupled with TTI in the rear, the double A-arm front suspension design delivers a ride you can trust. The TTI rear suspension is designed to offer 75% less moving parts compared to conventional suspension designs.
